How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies...80's Style
After my last post, my mom got all nostalgic and sent me these pictures of Erin and me baking when we were little. We used to bake a lot (she tells me); I think that's where I get my love of baking.
I enjoyed the pictures for several reasons. Mostly it makes me feel better about letting my toddler eat raw cookie dough by the spoonful. Erin and I did it, and we turned out just fine.
It also reminded me that my mom is a superwoman. Erin and I are only 14 months apart. If she could do it so well (and oh does she do it well), maybe I can do it with two that are 2 years apart. Motherhood is so dang hard sometimes, but so worth it.
I hope my boys are as close as Erin and I were/are.
Apparently overalls with no shirt underneath was the style for little girls back then.
I wonder if there was more flour in the cookies or on Erin's face!
